I am not sure if i am using this blog correctly. I am not good with the internet. I wanted to ask a question, and see if anyone has heard of this or has had this procedure done. I found it doing a search online. It is a operation that is suppose to help people that have migraine headaches, and i am getting really , really close to going that route and wanted to know if anyone has had this operation done or has heard about it. the website is http://www.behinmd.com any information would be greatly appreciated. Hi Donna,
I had the surgery in 2000 with no success. I’ve heard mixed reviews online.
It is common to numb the contact point with local anesthesia to see if that helps. If it does, researchers say it is a good indication that the surgery will work. Having had three migraine-related surgeries that didn’t work, I highly recommend trying the local anesthesia first to see. There is a risk that any migraine-related surgery can actually make the headaches worse.
I asked about the surgery on our forum (a website where a lot of people share their experiences with migraine and headache). You can read anything on the forum without signing up, but need to register to add your comments or questions. Here’s where I wrote about your question:

Let me know if you need any more help.
Take care,

Holy redesign, Kerrie! It looks great. Very clean and sharp and easy on the eyes (and head). I do miss that picture of you reminding me who is writing the blog! OH, I just noticed that my blogs are listed. Thanks!
Thanks Kerrie – this is great!
