Has anyone had success with Botox injections for chronic headaches?
Any success with acupuncture? If so, can you recommend one?

Thank you.

Hi Joni,
Your mother is fortunate to have a daughter researching headache treatments for her. Just having a family member who recognizes that she is suffering (and that her headaches aren’t all in her head) is likely a tremendous relief.
I know a lot of people who have had success with Botox, although it wasn’t helpful for me. Acupuncture has mixed results from the people I’ve talked to. It is less invasive than Botox, so it might be a good place to start.
You may want to ask about it on our forum. I know a lot of people there have tried both, so you can get a better range of answers.
